World Cup & Asian Cup Qualifying Action
Nigeria vs Gabon – November 13, 2025
The final opportunity to reach the FIFA World Cup is on the line. Two semifinals come first, followed by the decisive final between the winners on Sunday. Expect an open contest in the first match and a tight, tactical battle in the second.
Prediction: Nigeria win (2–1) — Key player: Victor Osimhen
Cameroon vs DR Congo – November 13, 2025
Another African clash with high stakes, as both teams vie for the last World Cup playoff spot. Every moment counts.
Prediction: Draw (1–1) — Key player: Mbeumo (Cameroon) / Player to watch from DR Congo for set-piece threat.

Iraq vs United Arab Emirates – November 18, 2025
Just like in Africa, one remaining Asian nation will move on to the intercontinental playoff in March. Both Iraq and the UAE are struggling with key injuries (Lima and Madjed), but expect packed stadiums for both legs — especially the final leg in Basra on Tuesday.
Prediction: United Arab Emirates win (2–1) over two legs
Hong Kong vs Singapore – November 18, 2025
The only Asian Cup Qualifier this month that could see a team secure advancement. If you’ve never watched Hong Kong play before, you’re in for a treat — passionate fans, loud chants, and a strong tifo culture. Singapore, meanwhile, can make history by qualifying outright for the first time ever (they previously hosted their only qualification). If there’s a winner here, that nation qualifies; if not, we wait until March.
Prediction: Singapore win (1–0)

Norway vs Estonia – November 13, 2025
Surprised? This is Norway’s biggest moment since 1998. A win would make their final qualifier against Italy a dead rubber — Norway could even lose that one and still qualify. But if they drop points at home to Estonia, things could get complicated. Years ago, they lost crucial points to Latvia that cost them qualification — but this is a very different Norway side now.
Prediction: Norway win (3–0)
England vs Serbia – November 13, 2025
A massive match — but not for England. For Serbia, everything is at stake. If Serbia loses and Albania defeats Andorra, Serbia’s qualification hopes end. Serbia’s new coach could become an instant hero if they pull it off, especially since Albania finishes against England. Serbia hosts Latvia next.
Prediction: England win (2–0)
Suriname vs El Salvador – November 13, 2025
Suriname is still searching for their first home win in qualifying. This is their last chance — they’ll need to go big, and go for goals. Panama’s away match in Guatemala could also slightly open the door for them.
Prediction: Suriname win (2–1)
Trinidad and Tobago vs Jamaica – November 13, 2025
Jamaica faces a tough month ahead, starting with a tense clash in Port of Spain. Dropping points here wouldn’t be shocking, but it could cost them top spot in the group to Curaçao once again.
Prediction: Jamaica win (1–0)
Slovakia vs Northern Ireland – November 14, 2025
Slovakia needs a win at home to eliminate Northern Ireland and stay level with Germany. Northern Ireland still has the Nations League as a backup route, but Moldova and San Marino fans will be rooting for NIR to grab second place.
Prediction: Slovakia win (2–0)
Bosnia and Herzegovina vs Romania – November 15, 2025
Romania can do serious damage to Bosnia’s hopes with a win — or even a draw. Bosnia faces Austria next, while Romania has San Marino. If you’re a San Marino fan, you’ll actually want Romania to win big here to shape the group standings. Bosnia’s best hope: points, preferably all three.
Prediction: Draw (1–1)
Ukraine vs Iceland – November 16, 2025
If results go as expected, this could be a straight fight for second place with both sides level on points. Goal difference is close — advantage Iceland if they can rack up goals against Azerbaijan. Ukraine, however, faces France first.
Prediction: Draw (1–1)
Germany vs Slovakia – November 17, 2025
Will this be a direct battle for the automatic qualification spot? We’ll find out soon enough.
Prediction: Germany win (3–0)
Scotland vs Denmark – November 18, 2025
Unless Scotland drops points away to Greece, this could be a crucial showdown for the automatic qualifying place.
Prediction: Draw (1–1)
Scotland vs North Macedonia – November 18, 2025
Another tense matchup between two sides likely level on points going in. Both teams still have the Nations League as a potential fallback option.
Prediction: Scotland win (2–0)
Costa Rica vs Honduras – November 18, 2025
If Costa Rica wins at home, they could leapfrog Honduras in the table and secure automatic qualification. Everything could come down to this match.
Prediction: Costa Rica win (2–1)
Jamaica vs Curaçao – November 18, 2025
Similar story to above, but in Group B. Unless Curaçao loses to Bermuda, this fixture will carry huge weight — and could even benefit Trinidad, depending on results.
Prediction: Jamaica win (2–0)
Guatemala vs Suriname – November 18, 2025
Could Guatemala qualify for their first-ever World Cup? Suriname too? Count us in. The only downside: all these CONCACAF matches will kick off at the same time.
Prediction: Draw (1–1)
